Dr. Karen Click is an accomplished artist based in the beautiful Southwest Florida region. She is a versatile musician with a strong academic background, holding Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees in piano performance from Radford University. During her time at Radford, Dr. Click received the prestigious Radford University freshman music scholarship. She participated in master classes with renowned musicians Gyorgy Sandor, Enrique Graf, and Leon Bates.

Following her studies, Dr. Click ventured into teaching, running a private piano studio in Northern Virginia, and actively contributing as a judge with the Northern Virginia Music Teachers’ Association. After a successful venture in corporate project management, she returned to academia, and completed her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance with academic honors at the University of Miami, under the mentorship of Van Cliburn prize winner, Professor Tian Ying,

Dedicated to music education, Dr. Click has served as an adjunct instructor of piano at Messiah University and for many years as the Executive Director and piano faculty member at the State Street Academy of Music in Harrisburg, PA. She has also worked as an adjunct faculty member at the Community Music Institute of Lebanon Valley College.

Beyond her accomplishments in piano, Dr. Click is a talented vocalist who has contributed her voice to many ensembles. She has performed with groups such as the Washington Chorus, Susquehanna Chorale, the Wheatland Chorale. She has also served as a soprano soloist for the Central PA Oratorio Society, under the baton of conductor and revered choral composer Bob Chilcott, in the performance of his own Requiem.

After eleven years in Central Pennsylvania, Dr. Click's musical and academic journey took her to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX, where she served for three years as the Assistant Director of the School of Music, contributing to the institution's continued academic and musical excellence.

In 2021, Dr. Click began a new chapter in Southwest Florida, where she became a featured soprano soloist with the choral group, Choral Artistry, during their stirring performance of Considering Matthew Shepherd in the spring of 2022. In 2023 she was appointed as the Director of Music at the First United Methodist Church of Naples, where she takes on the roles of organist, pianist, and director of the Sanctuary choir.

Beyond her musical pursuits, Dr. Click interests include studying Italian, culinary arts, travel, wine tasting, photography, and spending quality time with her husband and their beloved Westie, Sophie.
